Yoga vacation by the sea – a retreat with Stephie
VINYASA, YIN YOGA AND CHAKRA JOURNEY
Yoga vacation by the sea at Goodtimes Surfcamp in the north of Portugal. The wonderful thing about a yoga vacation is that you have the opportunity to focus entirely on yourself. You don’t have to worry about anything and can take all the time and space you need. If you want, you always have time for silence and contemplation and yet you are not alone and in the group.

We get to know each other during a small arrival ceremony and then everything happens by itself during the first meal together at the surf camp. I am there to give the group a trusting framework and through practicing together we grow even closer – yoga connects immensely and opens hearts. The connection with nature, the sound of the waves and the element of water provide the perfect setting for this.
We will start this week with pranayama and a flowing, activating class in the morning to welcome the day full of energy and power. In the afternoon you can expect time for regeneration and balance in Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and meditation.
A JOURNEY THROUGH THE CHAKRAS
We dedicate this retreat week at Goodtimes Surfcamp to our seven main chakras and will focus on a different theme each day, starting from the root chakra upwards. – Grounding – find grounding and stability and let go of what can go. – Growing – self-confidence and inner strength – you are good just the way you are!- Shining – open and expand your heart and bring your inner glow to the outside!
Yoga vacation at the surf camp: Yoga teacher Stephie
The feeling I had after my first yoga class and every subsequent one was and is something I absolutely want to pass on and share. The moment of looking into shining eyes after a class and feeling the “yoga glow” is simply wonderful.

I completed my first 200h basic training at the Vinyasas Yoga Academy in 2012, followed by a Yin Yoga training with Tanja Seehofer. I then delved deeper in 2017 when I completed the 500h training at the Patrick Boome Academy.
I teach my regular classes in a small private studio in the north of Munich and in the Patrick Broome Studios in Munich as well as at various companies in and around Munich.
I like to teach flowing classes in Vinyasa style and as a balance just as much a calm Yin class.
Stephie’s yoga style and yoga philosophy
I want everyone in my classes to find the space and room to come back to themselves, to feel themselves, to challenge themselves or to let go in order to leave the class feeling strengthened and nourished. It is important to me that my participants find their inner connection again, whether through breathing, meditation or asanas
YOGA FOR ME IS – QUITE SIMPLY, COMING HOME
Listening inwards and maintaining the balance between body, mind and soul. It always sounds like such a simple thing to say, but that is exactly what makes yoga so valuable. When everything is in harmony, we can go through life stronger, healthier and with ease and joy.
Stephies influences in yoga
I am incredibly grateful that I was and am able to learn from my mentor and teacher Patrick Broome. His way of bringing yoga to the world is absolutely inspiring and valuable. The effect that inspires me is finding inner peace through regular practice. I believe that only when we are at peace with ourselves can we bring joy and love to the outside world. And that is what the world definitely needs.

Through practicing yoga, I have become more mindful, always try to see things from a new perspective and look at myself and my environment with loving eyes.
During my yoga training, there was a turning point in our lives that threw my family off course for a while. Through yoga, I learned that life is for us, no matter what it throws our way, and that we can grow from every situation. I have managed to find my center again and to trust myself again and again.
